Some e-book cover designers are charging $50 to $500 for basic
design.
On some of the covers, you
can't even read the titles or authors' names
properly or at all. The names are in tiny print.
Some publishers offer a total print on demand (POD) e-package.
They publish the e-book; and the e-book cover is included in the
price.
Some publishers provide a
"cheap" template cover to cut costs. That is a great
disservice to the writer - and the publisher: they both lose out
on sales and profits.
