Should I get my own domain name?

If you want to promote your writing, the answer is Yes.

There are many domain name registrars - charging registration fees in the region of $75. There's even a writing web site that claims to help writers - they charge around $82 (looks like a good profit mark-up).

However, there are far better and cheaper options. These registrars let you control the domain names with easy "Click" options. And the cost - around $13.50 - some for even $5.75
